Three Card Poker is a casino game that is also known to many as tricard Three Card Poker poker. Even though this variation of poker is common in both online and regular casinos, it can be played in the comfort of your own home as well. Many people are unaware of the fact that Three Card Poker consists of two individual games known as ante and play and pairplus. Players have the option of playing either one of these games, or both of them at the same time.

Three Card Poker and Brag

Three Card Poker is most common in the United States. But with that being said, it is a variation of the popular British game, Brag. Early on in the United States, this poker variation was called Brit Brag and Casino Brag. As the game continued to develop, it eventually took its current name of Three Card Poker.

The pairplus part of Three Card Poker is easy to understand. Bets are placed on the cards, and payouts are given for any combination that is a pair or better. As you can imagine, there are many different hands that can turn you into a winner.

Playing Three Card Poker

 For ante and play, the players at the table must place an ante before they receive cards from the dealer. This portion of Three Card Poker is not difficult to learn, but it is slightly more complicated than pairplus. Upon examining their hand, a player can either fold and lost their ante or they can raise by placing a bet that is equal or more than the initial ante. In addition to the basic rules of ante and play, there is also a bonus that can be obtained in an ante and play game. This is given for good hands on the ante bet.
