Let It Ride Game Features

One of the most common features of Let it Ride poker is its slow game play. In fact, the game is played at such a slow pace that many refer to it as Let it Die. But despite the slow developing nature of this variation of poker, fun can be had for all. Most commonly, older players and poker newbies play Let it Ride poker. But no matter your age or experience, you can have a good time with this game.

Playing Let It Ride

Let it Ride is very similar to the common poker variation, five card stud. Each player places bets based on three cards that they have in their hand, as well as two community issued cards. Many people liken Let it Ride to video poker in the way you win, and the payout schedule that is used. The ranking of the player’s hand will determine how much money they win. For instance, a Royal Flush will pay out at 1,000 to 1 whereas two pair will only pay out at 2 to 1.

To start, each player will place three separate bets. Most casinos also make optional side bets available for increased action.

The deal consists of each player receiving three cards face down, and the dealer receiving two cards face down. As a player, your hand consists of the cards you are holding as well as the two that the dealer dealt to himself. After examining his three cards, the player has the option to take back their first bet if they do not like what they are holding. Once each player makes their move, the dealer shows one community card. At this time, players can take back their second bet if they wish to do so. Finally, the dealer shows the second community card and then goes about determining the winners and losers.

Let it Ride poker may not be as popular as other variations, but its slow play and chances of winning big have made it common among many.
